I’m a cartoonist. I draw biographical stories from varying genres.
I’m writing to you in regard to a book which I’m currently working on called Movie Making Course, by Ted Jones. My name is Sarah Bell and I’m the picture researcher here at Quarto Books. In one section of the book Ted explains the concept of story boards with reference to The Matrix. In search of suitable imagery to illustrate this article, I found one of your drawings on a forum website and I was wondering if you would grant us permission to use it? We will of course credit you in full and send you a complimentary copy once the book is published.
For your reference, here is a link to the website: http://www.606studios.com/bendisboard/showthread.php?75447-The-Steve-Skroce-art-appreciation-thread/page2 It’s the last drawing at the bottom of the page that we would like to use.
Please feel free to check up out on http://www.quarto.com and should you have any questions then please don’t hesitate to ask.
I hope you will accept our invitation and hope to hear from you soon.
With kind regards,

As much as I wish I could take credit for those drawings and give you permission to use them, I can’t. Those are by Steve Skroce. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help, but you’ll have to contact Mr. Skroce in regards to using that art. Good luck.
